History

The development of the papermaking industry in the free competitive market has progressed along the path of ongoing investment in enlargement, precision and automation to intensive studies of various professional technologies to increase the industry’s competitive advantages.


	Over the course of its development, the papermaking industry has evolved into a business that demands fine allocation of labor, a rapid diffusion of information, an emphasis upon benefiting the entire industry, and strong efforts in R&D. This series of changes in the industry and the process of research and development all originated from the Chiutang Mill established by YFY Group in 1950. A scholar once said that the founding and development of YFY is the most illustrative example of the history of the development of Taiwanese industries; and we believe the same can be said for her papermaking industry.
